Nifuji introduced a paper entitled “Lifelong persistence of nuclear RNAs in the mouse brain (Zocher et al., Science 384, 53–59 (2024))”, which showed that newly generated RNA labeled with 5-ethynyl uridine (EU) in early postnatal mice existed in the nucleus of many brain cells for 2 years.
